This article outlines Trustifi’s data storage practices and the measures we take to ensure security.
Where is Email Data Stored?
All customer email data within Trustifi is securely stored in AWS S3 buckets and is encrypted at rest using individual secret keys managed by Trustifi. Clients also have the option to use their own S3 buckets and control the entire data lifecycle.
Upon the deletion of a user or admin account, all associated data will be permanently erased after a three-day grace period.
How is Email Data Accessed?
Secured email data is accessible only via a dedicated secret key assigned to each user by Trustifi systems, specifically for scanning and classifying purposes. Every access is meticulously logged, and at no point can any team member access the data.
Additionally, customers can utilize their own Key Management System (KMS) for enhanced control and security over their data.
How Long does Trustifi Store Email Data?
Trustifi can purge email data at regular intervals, according to customer settings. Different types of data can be set to have different retention periods via the Trustifi admin portal.
