Overview
This guide explains how to enable and use the Exchange Server PowerShell integration in Trustifi for Office365 environments that are already connected via the Office365 API integration. This integration enables advanced administrative actions across Trustifi protection modules, including viewing Exchange configurations, creating mail flow rules via automated scripts, and synchronizing quarantined emails.
Capabilities
Once enabled, the Exchange Server PowerShell integration allows Trustifi to:
View current Exchange configurations and settings
Create Exchange mail flow connectors and rules via automated scripts
Synchronize quarantined emails from Exchange
Perform additional advanced Exchange-related actions
Prerequisites
Before enabling this integration, ensure that:
The Office365 API integration is already connected in Trustifi
You have Global Admin permissions for the Office365 tenant
Step-by-Step Integration Guide
Step 1: Navigating to the Exchange Server PowerShell Integration in Trustifi
Sign in to the Trustifi admin portal.
Navigate to the "Integrations" tab from either:
Find and click on "Exchange Server PowerShell".

In the pop-up, click "Connect" to open the connection window.

Step 2: Selecting the Connection Type
In the connection wizard, select one of the following connection options:
Microsoft Graph API
Long-term, stable connection
Best suited for continuous functionality such as quarantined email synchronization
PowerShell connection script
Short-term connection that disconnects automatically after a period of time
Best suited for one-time actions such as creating Exchange connectors and mail flow rules
Choose your preferred connection type and follow the corresponding steps below.
1) Microsoft Graph API Connection
Select "Graph API" in the connection selection screen and click "Next".

A Microsoft authentication pop-up opens automatically.
Sign in using your Global Admin account.
Approve the requested access permissions for Trustifi.

Wait approximately 1 minute for the connection to finalize.
A success notification appears.
Click "OK" to complete the setup.

2) PowerShell Script Connection
Select "PowerShell Script" in the connection selection screen and click "Next".

Trustifi generates a single-use authorization token.
Copy the token and click "Configure".

A Microsoft authentication pop-up appears.
Paste the copied token into the input field.

Approve the requested permissions.
Once confirmed, Microsoft displays a message indicating that you are signed in to the Microsoft Exchange REST API Based PowerShell application.
Close the Microsoft pop-up but keep the Trustifi window open.

Wait approximately 1 minute for the connection to complete.
A success notification appears.
Click "OK" to finish.
